Over millions of years, that’s what happens: a small advantage causes one mutation to dominate. And it’s the same in business.
If you can’t staff a key technical role, or management or operations role, for too long – it’s not that ‘nature’ (the business jungle) will automatically destroy you. It’s that the competition will become relatively stronger.
